An area i've been struggling with is how to represent the city in a non-judgemental manner. I don't want people to view city life and think badly of it, I only want to compare the two lifestyles to alert people to the differences and allow them to learn from each.
However, when I think of the city, I think of pollution, busy people, fashion. Though when I think of the city, I also think of the little aspect that make it unique.
Pigeons, bins, people meeting for lunch, shopping, busy, people smoking, cars, busses, buildings...
I don't look upon any of these as bad and they even out. I would like to project all of them onto the back of my city set to see if they conjure up the idea of the city and give insight into the subtle, forgotten aspects of the town. I'll also do this with Lotte's croft. I would like to show the subtle happenings of both areas to allow people to draw their own conclusions of what they prefer.
