Finding Footage

One thing I have learned from this project is DON'T TAKE AS MUCH FOOTAGE AS YOU CAN!

On my first trip up, I tried to get as much footage as possible as I didn't yet know the outcome and was trying to make sure I didn't miss anything. While I probably didn't miss anything, I was making lots of errors as it was my first time filming. So now I have masses of dodgy footage I have to sift through to get the good stuff. That would be fine it there wasn't hours and hours of it.

The only upside I can see is, by collecting all of this footage, ad down to the fact I didn't have a strict plan, I got things I couldn't have planned for and by looking through everything I have collected, it's giving me new ideas and different ways I can express what's being discussed in the interview/story.
