Knowing what type of project i'm working on, a producer friend sent me this video and thought it sounded like my project.

Well, yes. I love it!

Sliiightly cheesy, but in my old (obv a joke :|) age i'm becoming more accepting of cheese.
I love the rhythm and pace, and the visuals work so well. The audio and visuals compliment one another and provoke thought.... Makes me think, anyway.

Something drew me to the lightbulbs. There's something quite magical about how they're used in this video. I always imagined you would get the horizontal line effect if filming a bulb, but apparently not- I just tried a couple.
I think that by focusing on them they give off an energy. They depict energy, to me.

I also like the inclusion of many other elements in this short video, it's brilliant. I like the hand drawn elements over the footage, the hand drawn images in the back... so much.

I shall watch again and write a more articulate review of the video... but have a watch. You might like it. Try not to shed a tear.
