City Split

I have been trying to combine the city and wilderness to allow the feel for both areas in one visually pleasing scene.
To create this, I decided for the city I could use a bokeh effect. I chose bokeh to make the clip softer and allow a better binding of both scenes.

My initial idea was to use a split screen and create a harsh juxtaposition, showing both shots on screen simultaneously. Although this could be edited to flow better, I find it to be too obvious.

Even if I had blended the seam slightly, I don't like the obviousness of the clip.

I plan to experiment in trying to make the clips flow better and come up with a more subtle approach.
