I feel that travelling up north for the second time has really improved my camera skills.

The firts trip, all footage gathered was too short and slightly shaky due to teh lenses used. I have developed techniques to keep the camera more stable and exteneded the time of the shots. The stabnility of the camera is not obvious throughout all clips from the second trip up north due to the gales- even with the heaviest tripod, t here would still be movement!

I have collected extensive video footage and have improved each time. I feel I have a better eye for what to film, a better understanding of how to shoot it and I consider the editing procedure when I have a shot in mind.

All of this allows for a better process for filming anything. I hope to implement these new skills in future works.
