I decided to use some green screen techniques and place the footage inside a makeshift TV screen.
It was shot on my mobile phone (poor quality) and the lighting could have been improved as it looks cold and not very inviting- warm colours would be more suited.
I wanted to portray the feeling of going into the documentary, as though you were being led into another world.
I don't think the outcome of the laser-cut tv set and the shots of the house on screen work. Perhaps it's the wooden stump it's placed on, or perhaps its just too childlike and won't fit within the documentary.
I will try again with different surroundings and alter a few elements to see if I can change the effect it will have on the audience.
