I was working on filming at the Tin Roof today. It went well.
I have decided I like taking shots with a shallow depth of field. I think this is an be good when filming as it blurs the background noise and guides the audience where to look.
I think expressions are key in filming for documentary as it gives an insight into the emotions of the subject. The shallow depth of field allows a combination of this while giving a view from a personal approach.
